Henry and Cora Holland, Indianapolis, IN	I have a old bible that was given as a wedding present to Henry and Cora Holland or Halland. It is dated June 18, 1878 in Indianapolis, given by James M. Ray. Sarah (Ann??) Holland	I am looking for some information about the parents of my great-grandmother, Sarah (Ann??) Holland. She was born 14 Oct 1839. She married Madison Falls 6 Dec 1855 in Greene County Tennessee. They had 12 children: Mary A., Soloman, Sarah A., Deliah C., Laura J., Willie, Minnie, George, Tommy, Johny, James Monrow (my grandfather), and Walter. Could she be the same Sarah that was the child of Enos Holland in Thomas County, VA? According to the 1850 Federal Census of Thomas County, there was a Sarah Holland in that household that was 10 years old. Any information would be appreciated. Raymond A. Holland, Huntingdon, PA	I am from Raymond A. Holland Family. My name is Lynette (Holland) Bonner. I would appreciate any information which is out there in ref to my father's family. My address is South Williamsport, PA. I am now married to John R. Bonner. I used to be married and had two children to Karl. W. Lang, Sr. of Huntingdon, PA. I have two grown Children - Karl W. Lang, Jr. and Jonathan A. Lang. They would be direct grandsons of Mr. Raymond A. Holland, formerly of Huntingdon, PA. Raymond's father was Ernest Holland. Raymond had two brother, I believe - John and Theodore (Ted) - both Hollands. I believe that one of them is living in California and the other one is living in North Carolina. They would be in their late 60's and early 70's (ages). My father, Raymond A. Holland had married Barbara V. DeArmitt (of Huntingdon, PA). Stephen Holland, VA, TN & AK	I am looking for the parents of Stephen Holland. Stephen was born in Virginia in 1798. He moved to Tennessee and married a woman named Onah. I do not know Onah's maiden name. Stephen and Onah moved to Arkansas and are buried in Marble Cemetery. Stephen died in 1869 and Onah died in 1867. parents of George Holland	I'm searching for information regarding George Holland who was living in Sulphur, OK in the early 1940's with second wife and children. Through fragmented memories, all I have is : He had an uncle who had a farm in TX where he worked in early 1930's. His father's name, possibly Thomas, possibly a Baptist Minister. He had one son (my husband) from first marriage, Thomas Wayne. He had at least 2 sons from second marriage one was named Haskell. Nova Scotia	Researching the Holland family of Duncan's Cove and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. The oldest record we have been able to find is the marriage of James Holland to Elizabeth Jackson at St Mary's Basilica, Halifax, on October 20, 1827. The parents of the groom were Jeremiah Holland and Johanna Tardy of Halifax, NS, and Richard Jackson and Jane Lyons of Dartmouth, NS. Their sons went on to be famous Halifax Harbour pilots. One of the sons, Jeremiah, was the son-in-law of Jock Flemming, another famous pilot of the 1800s. We do not know where the family originated, possible Cork Ireland. Frederick Croner Holland	My GGGGgrandfather, Kemp Holland was b in VA, and d in TN. One of his seven children came to MS and lived in Benton Co. Two other of his sons, Spearman and Kemp S., lived for a while in MS in the mid-1800's. My GGGgrandfather, Frederick Croner Holland d Sep 16, 1871 in Benton Co., MS. His wife, Sarah Jane (Sally) d Sept 27, 1873 in Tippah Co., MS. They had six children: Emily E. who m Calvin J. MILLER, Newton, Jackson C. who m. Rebecca T. WILLIAMS, Felix R. who m. Jane E. John Scott Holland	Hi, My name is Mychelle Holland, and my Grandmother was named Mary Anne Wright. (b.June 3, 1892, Warm Springs, Randolph County Missouri, d.Jan 13, 1975, Doniphan, Missouri); she married John Scott Holland July 19, 1909. Gene N. Holland	Am looking for information on my Grandfather Gene N. Holland. Was supposed to be from Tenn. Married Lorene Broadnax, moved to Bastrop, Louisiana (Morehouse Parish) in covered wagon. ALFRED Holland	ALFRED Holland was b. NC and I believe his father was also Alfred. He married a POLLY/Mary HAYES (I think) and had a son named JAMES KNOX POLK Holland b. 1848 Mo. He is in Missouri in 1850 living next door to the Hayes family and there is another girl living with him that is 2 yrs older than his wife named Mahala Hayes, both born in Tenn. WV/VA Holland	JOHN JAMES Holland married Julia Patton Hannah b. 21Sep1871 Eagle Rock VA and had a daughter EMMER VIOLA Holland b. 25 Nov 1890 in Clifton Forge VA. All are buried in WV (Kanawha and Fayette Counties) with the exception of John James Holland who left his family in 1908, never to return. Correspondence was sometimes received along with gifts and packages, all posted from western states. He purported to be a railroad detective and the last communication, written by a "nurse" testified to the fact that he had been shot and was dying. Mary Holland and a priest, Father (James?)Holland.	My grandmother was Maggie Cummings (b. 1879; dtr. of Michael and Margaret O'Connell Cummings), (m. Luke Finnegan); Maggie had either a sister or an aunt, Mary Holland. There was a Father Holland (Catholic priest), but I do not know whether he was Mary Holland's son, nephew, brother, brother-in-law, or.... Her first name was possibly MARY, and her mother's name may have been Mary. Her parents are believed to be buried in Allen Co KY where she married William "Carroll" Carpenter. It is possible that she was the daughter of either William or Major Holland of South Central Kentucky, and that they came from Virginia in the late 1700s. Both were born in Blackpool, England. Their children were: George b. 1865 in Blackpool Mary b. 1867 born in Pennsylvania Solomon b. 1869 in Pennsylvania William b. 1871in Pennsylvania Eliza b. 1873 in Pennsylvania Violet b. 1879 in West Virginia On a paper written by my aunt it states that William, Agness, and George came to America when George was five years old on a ship called the "City of Chester". William H. Sr is listed as Supt coal mine in the Fayette Co., WV, 1880 census. I can only come forward (with little info) through George's line. Any other information would be very much appreciated.
