The will of Eli Holland, 2nd child of Elisha and
Patience Holland,
born 1792 in North Carolina. He died in Georgia in 1853; his will was filed in Mitchell County in
1870.

Know all men by these presents tht we Adam Adams as Principal and J. T. Holland, Wiley N. Holland, Ment (Merritt) Johnson and E. Fields are held and firmly bound unto the Ordinary of said County of Mitchell and his successors in office in the just and full sum of one thousand dollars for the payment of which too bind ourselves, our kin, Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents.
Signed, sealed and dated this October 27, 1870.
The conditions of this bond is that if the said Adam Adams Temporary Administrator of the goods and chattels and credits of Ely Holland, deceased shall collect and take of the goods and chattels and credits of said deceased and shall make a true and perfect inventory of such goods, chattels and credits and the same together with said goods, chattels and credits shall answer at such times and at such persons as may be required or directed by the said Ordinary of said county thus this bond shall be void, else of full force and virtue.
