MAY 1823 WAYNE COUNTY COURT
Woodard Holland called for jury duty
NOVEMBER 1823 COURT
Ezekiel Slocumb, James Bradbury and Elisha Holland, Esquires,
Justices Present [note: from what I gather, the names of the judges
presiding over the court were listed right after the date the court
adjourned]
MAY 1824 COURT
Ordered that Woodard Holland be exempted from working on the public road
and serving as a juror.
Elisha Holland and Silas Barnes - voted for sheriff
Ordered that Elisha Holland and Gabriel Sherard Esq. be appointed commission to take the private examination of the wife of William Bradbury touching her free consent in executing deed.
AUGUST 1824 COURT
Ordered that Woodard Holland be appointed Constable in Capt. Raifords
District until February Court next who enters into bond in the sum of four
thousand dollars with Simon Aycock and Willie Thompson his securities.

Black Hooks Esq be appointed to hold the election at Boswells and Barna

NOVEMBER 1832 COURT
A deed of gift from Polly Holland to Blumy? Coor duly proved in open court
by the oath of Isaac Wise a subscribing witness and let it be registered
Ordered that Zadock Peacock, Woodard Holland and Norfleet Newsom be appointed commissioners to let out the bridge across the Great Swamp at the head of Simon Aycocks mill pond and the lowest bidder and report to next court.
Woodard Holland came to court and as duly qualified as Justice of the Peace for the County of Wayne.
NOVEMBER 1833 COURT
Deed of sale from Woodard Holland to Hillery Cammell
Ordered that letters of administration upon estate of Elisha Holland be granted to Pasha Holland and Exum Holland upon their entering into bonds of fifteen thousand dollars with Major Copeland, Warren/Worer? Holland, Barna Peacock, Hardy Hooks, Robin Davis & Elisha Holland as securities.
A will of Elisha Holland produced and duly proved in open court by the oath of Tobias Jones and Joshua Jones and ordered to be recorded at the same time Pasha Holland appeared and gualified as executor let letters testamitry issue.
Ordered that Exum Holland fifer and Henry H. Davis drummer, be exonerated from working the road, paying pole tax and serving as jurors so long as they continue in service in Capt. Peasolls Company.

November 18, 1835 COURT - WAYNESBORO
- Woodard Holland and Jonathan Barnes voted for Washington for county
attorney
- Ordered that Exum Holland be allowed the sume of eighty cents for one
change in the tax list and the sum be paid him out of the county tax.
