Ophelia Holland - Spell Cemetery
North Carolina 

Ophelia Holland was the 1st child of Woodard D. Holland II, C. S. A., and Rhoda Brown.  She married Jess Harris Spell.

Ophelia's grave was found in what is now somebody's yard between Goldsboro and Pikeville in Wayne County, North Carolina, on state Road 1330, across the road from Pleasant Hill Church and west of Highway 581. 

According to Nancy Holland Slagle who found these graves, Jess Harris Spell, Ophelia's husband, is buried here beside Ophelia but has no headstone.  It is thought that their son Rural Minson Spell is also buried here.   

The other people buried here are Rossen, Whitley, Brantham, Shallington, and two Myers.
