This is my dad.  He descended through: 
Elisha's 11th child, Exum (the 3rd child of Elisha's second wife Patie Peacock) 
Exum's 8th and last child by his first Wife, Penniah Boswell, Calvin C. Holland, 
Calvin's 7th child by his first wife, Sarah Jane Ballenberger, David Holland. 
He is David's 1st child by his first wife Emma Lea Bryant, Louis Lea Holland, my dad. 

He married my mom, Iris Boyette Bellamy, on 17 May 1939.  He became a pharmacist and owned his own drug store in Hamlet, NC, where I was born and grew up.  My dad was a very active participant in community life in Hamlet.  He retired there and was buried there in Richmond Memorial Park.  The most memorable as well as endearing characteristic about my dad was that he loved people.
