Elisha Holland and Patience Watkins' first child was Enos Holland, born about 1790 in North Carolina.  Enos Holland's 4th child with his wife Susan Brown was Alvin Holland, born about 1824 in North Carolina.  Alvin Holland's second child by his first wife Mary Ellen Miers was Francis Matilda Holland.  Francis Matilda Holland was born in 1853 in Alabama, where she married Henry Nathan Maddux.  Francis Matilda Holland's 6th child was Cluster Right Maddux, born 1886 in Cleburne County, Alabama. Cluster Right Maddux married Amanda Jane Richard in Bell County, Texas, and had eleven children with her. Buford Percy Maddux, 6th child of Cluster Right Maddux and Amanda Jane Richard, was born in 1921 in Holland, Bell County, Texas. Buford Percy Maddux married Violet Rindsberg in Oakland, Alameda County, California. The 3rd and last child of Buford Percy Maddux and Violet Rindsberg was Nancy Marie Maddux. Nancy Marie Maddux married Richard Walter August in 1965. Byron Ashley August was born 20 August 1965.
