This page is a sub-section of Eli C. "Jack" Holland and his wife Nancy's second child, James Franklin Holland.  The complete line of his parents along with his siblings is located on Eli C. and Nancy Purvis' page.  

A note the Woodard D. Hollands in this family.  There are three generations of Woodard D. Holland, beginning with Elisha's son born in 1794.  Since we do not know what the D. stands for, we cannot assume that the second Woodard D. was a Junior, or that his son was the 3rd; their middle names could have all been different.  So, for the sake of referencing them in this family history, I am referring to the second-generation Woodard D. Holland, born in 1834, as Woodard D. 2, and to his son, born in 1868, as Woodard D. 3.  This is not to be taken as repeated names in subsequent generations which we would distinguish as Jr. and III, but merely as a convenience of reference.  

2.  George Ellis Holland was born 31 August 1895 in Appling County, Georgia.  He was the second (middle) child of Eli C. ("Jack") Holland and his first wife Lisa Johnson.  On 24 December 1915 he married Pearl Carter, daughter of Jim Carter and Polly Ann Carter.  She was born 10 June 1897.  Pearl Carter died 1 January 1960 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. After her death, George Ellis Holland married 2nd Lula L. about 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was 67 and she was 63.  He died about 1965 in Jacksonville, Florida.  Pictures of Pearl Carter, Polly Ann Carter, George Ellis Holland, and Edna Holland are in the Album section of this web site.  

The section that follows on Eli C. "Jack" Holland's descendants was furnished in large part by Skip and Pat Coggin of Jacksonville, Florida, and by Nancy Holland Slagle of Bradenton, Florida.  
Children of George Ellis Holland and Pearl Carter:

1.  Edna Holland was born 31 July 1917 in Appling, Georgia.  On 6 September 1936. in Perry, Taylor County, Florida, she married William Miles Dandridge who was born 29 July 1917 in Badcock, Georgia.  He died 31 July 1966 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  Edna died 8 January 1999 in Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.  She was buried 12 January 1999 in Arlington Park Cemetery next to her first husband, William Dandridge.  

Edna Holland married 2nd, in December 1982, in Jacksonville, Florida, Ordway Gray Blue, who was born 25 May 1916 in Taylor County, Florida.  He died 21 May 1991 in Perry, Taylor County, Florida.
Children of Edna Holland and William Miles Dandridge:

1.  Patricia Ann Dandridge was born 10 September 1943 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  On 7 October 1961, in Folkston, Georgia, she married David William Owens, who was born 17 January 1941.  They divorced.  Pat married 2nd John Eldridge (called "Skip") Coggin II on 14 February 1973 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  Skip was born 2 July 1946 in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, TX.  Skip was the son of John Eldridge Coggin (born 23 June 1924 in Norfolk, VA; died 5 January 1988 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida) and Etta May Manning (born 30 June 1924 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MI) who were married 1 September 1945 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  Skip has a web page at http://members.aol.com/docusmc2/home.html that contains his family genealogy.  
Children of Patricia Ann Dandridge and David Owens: 

1.  David William Owens, Jr. was born 29 August 1962 in Jacksonville,  Duval County, Florida.  David married on 7 May 1982 in Indianapolis, IN to Mary Martha Clark.
Children of David William Owens, Jr. and Mary Martha Clark:

1.  David William Owens III was born 2 September 1985 in Lubbock A.F.B., Texas.

2.  Courtney Michaele Owens was born 24 October 1988 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

2.  William Dale Owens was born 12 April 1965 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  He married Hazel Janet (called 'Angel') Richardson on 14 March 1992;  Angel was born in Jacksonville, Florida.

1.  Brandon William Owens was born 18 October 1992 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

2.  Tyler William Owens was born 14 March 1995 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

3.  Deanna Lynn Owens was born 1 April 1967 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  On 14 March 1987 she married William Ronald Rohn in  Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida;  he was born 21 January 1965 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.
Children of Deanna Lynn Owens and William Ronald Rohn::

1.  William Wesley Rohn was born 31 March 1989 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

2.  Emily Kathleen Michelle Rohn was born 4 August 1992 in Jacksonville, Florida.

3.  Zackery Aaron Rohn was born 25 January 2000 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. 

4.  Robin Michelle Owens was born in 1968 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  On 14 October 1988, in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, Robin married Alfredo Delvalle Santoni who was born 8 February 1966 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  They divorced in February 2000.  On 23 January 2004, Robin Owens married Anthony Rossi, former husband of her first cousin, Charity Love Walker. 
Children of Robin Michelle Owens and Alfredo Delvalle Santoni:

1.  Cristina Lynne Delvalle was born 11 October 1995 in Panama.

1.  Summerlee Ireland Edenfield was born 9 July 1998 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.  She is the daughter of Ritchie Edenfield, whose parents are Beth and Dick Edenfield.

2.  Billie Sharon Dandridge was born 24 November 1954 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  On 15 February 1974 in Jacksonville, Florida, she married Gary Vance Walker who was born 3 September 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Billie and Gary divorced.  Billie married 2nd, Frank Anton Brown on 7 October 1979, in Jacksonville, Florida.  Frank was born 4 November 1954 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida
Children of Billie Sharon Dandridge and Gary Walker:

1.  Charity Love Walker was born 19 September 1974 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.  Charity married Anthony Rossi who was born in Miami, Florida.  They divorced in December 1998.  Anthony Rossi married Robin Michelle Owens on 23 January 2004.  Charity married Michael Bryan Landry on 10 March 2005.

1.  Cheyenne Sierra Marlene Rossi was born in 22 November 1995 in Miami, Florida.

2.  Brooklyn Michaela Rossi was born 20 February 1998 in Jacksonville, Florida.

1.  Dylan Matthew Brown was born 22 January 1986 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

2.  Jeremy Daniel Brown was born 25 February 1989 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

2.  Charles Albert Holland was born 31 July 1919, died 20 October 1920.

3.  Ernest Luther Holland was born 23 February 1921. He died 18 April 1921.

4.  Robert Holland was born 24 February 1923 in Eastport, Duval County, Florida, died 6 May 1945.

5.  George Edwin Holland was born 27 April 1924 in Eastport, Duval County, Florida.  He married Myrtle Louisa Haselden on 6 August 1949 in Folkston, Charlton County, Georgia, in front of Judge Cecil Conner.  Myrtle was born 17 February 1932.⁵⁷ 
Children of Edwin Holland and Myrtle Haselden: 

1.  Myrtle Loreda (called Lorrie) Holland was born 21 August 1951 in Alma, Bacon County, Georgia.  She married Thomas Edward Oxford on 20 September 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was born 2 November 1946 in War, McDowell County, West Virginia.  
Child of Lorrie Holland and Thomas Oxford:

1.  Wendy Gail Oxford was born 3 June 1968.  She married Timothy Faulk in May 1986.  They divorced.  Wendy married 2nd Terry Lynn Brown 18 June 2000.

1.  Timothy Dustin Faulk was born 16 June 1989.

2.  George Robert Holland (called Robert) was born 29 October 1952.  He married Kim Della Jordan who was born 27 June 1958 in Blackshear, Georgia.  They were married on 16 October 1974 in Bacon County, Georgia.  
Children of George Robert Holland and Kim Jordan:

1.  Robert Clay Holland was born 8 July 1977 in Alma, Bacon County, Georgia. 

2.  Cliff Edwin Holland was born 24 February 1980 in Ware County, Georgia.   

3.  Michael Lance Holland was born 19 January 1987 in Appling County, Georgia.  

3.  Charles Auldon Holland was born 21 July 1955 in Duval County, Florida.  He married Debra Ann McCarty on 5 July1975 in Bacon County, Georgia.  She was born 2 July 1957 in Bacon County, Georgia.
Children of Charles Holland and Debra Ann McCarty:

1.  Penny Nicole Holland was born 17 July 1975 in Bacon County, Georgia.

2.  Kelli Renee Holland (twin) was born 20 January 1983 in Bacon County, Georgia.

3.  Shelli Leanna Holland (twin) was born 20 January 1983 in Bacon County, Georgia. 

4.  Pearl Dianne Holland was born 2 November 1958, in Bacon County, Georgia.  She married Benjamin Ralph Deen (born 29 January 1959 in Appling County, Georgia) on 13 October 1978 in Appling County, Georgia.  They divorced 10 November 1984.
Child of Dianne Holland and Benjamin Ralph Deen:

1.  Leah Georgeanna Deen was born 4 February 1979.  

5.  Eva Arlene Holland was born 13 December 1960 in Alma, Bacon County, Georgia.  She married Terry Alan Boatright on 19 May 1979 in Bacon County, Georgia.  Terry was born 21 August 1962 in Appling County, Georgia.  
Child of Arlene Holland and Terry Boatright:

1.  Jane Leslie Boatright was born 28 June 1987.  

6.  Clint Ellis Holland was born 20 July 1967 in Duval County, Florida.  He married Shari Charmain Price on 19 October1985 in Bacon County, Georgia.  She was born 26 January 1968 in Bacon County, Georgia.  
Child of Clint Ellis Holland and Shari Charmain Price:

1.  Austin Cody Holland was born 25 February 1994.  

6.  Ellis Vernon Holland was born 5 August 1926 in Foley, Florida; died 10 September 1926.

7.  Hazel Thelma Holland was born 12 August 1928 in Eastport, Duval County, Florida.  On 8 September 1945, Hazel married Jimmie Nathaniel Terrell who was born 12 March 1925; died 10 April 1978 in OR.  Hazel resides in Grants Pass, Oregon.
Children of Hazel Thelma Holland and Jimmie Nathaniel Terrell:

1.  Beverly Georgia Terrell was born 12 November 1947 in Mississippi.  She married Charles H. DeRains.  Beverly married 2nd Charles G. Martin on 5 January 1969.
Children of Beverly Georgia Terrell and Charles G. Martin:

1.  Scott Nicholas Martin was born 28 December 1970.

2.  Brad Michael Martin was born 7 August 1974.

2.  Linda Diane Terrell was born 6 February 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida.  She married Ronald Harry Martin, born 12 Jun 1949.
Children of Linda Diane Terrell and Ronald Harry Martin:

1.  Rhonda Lynn Martin, born about 1970; married18 September 1993 Art LeCours.

2.  Krista Rochelle Martin, born about 1972; married 28 August 1993 Richard Manson.

1.  Spencer Manson was born 21 June 1995.

3.  Debra Jimmie Terrell was born 24 October 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida.  She married Juan Pritcher.  Debra Terrell and Juan Pritcher divorced.  Debra married 2nd Wesley Dunn.
