2.  Belle Zoro Maddux was born 16 February 1877 in Jackson County, Alabama.  She married 1st Lee Allen Hopkins 10 October 1894 in Talladega County, Alabama, when she was 17 years old. She married 2nd Haywood Bowden about 1912 when she was 35.  Belle died 26 May 1969, in Athens, Henderson County, Texas, at age 92. 
Children of Belle Maddux and Lee Allen Hopkins:

1.  Lou Allen Hopkins was born 2 August 1895 in Talladega County, Alabama.  He died 20 November 1911, in Munford, Talladega County, Alabama, at age 16.

2.  Stella Francis Hopkins was born 13 October 1898, in Munford, Talladega County, Alabama.  She married Lawrence Dale Allen 6 June 1917. in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas, at age 18.  He was born 20 March 1895. in Luling, Caldwell County, Texas, and died 12 March 1967. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 71.  Stella died 14 March 1976 in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas, at age 77.  
Children of Lawrence Allen and Stella Hopkins:

1.  Lawrence Dale Allen was born about February 1918, in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas.  He died the same month.

2.  Robert Orville Allen was born 13 February 1920 in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas.  He married Mary Elizabeth Hodges 9 January 1942, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  Robert Allen died 28 May 1987, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.

1. Edward Lee Allen was born 16 February 1943 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  He married Carole Ann Frizzell 23 December 1964 in Tyler, Texas.  Carole died 14 March 2007 at age 62 in Tyler, Texas.

1.  Jonathon Lee Allen was born 9 October 1975 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  He married Rebekah (last name unknown).

2.  Kimberlie Ann Allen was born 9 October 1975 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  

2.  Janice Nell Allen was born 16 June 1947, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  She married Allen Michael Bronze 14 March 1970, in New York, New York County, New York.  They divorced.  Janice married Edward Blessington in New York. Allen Bronze died 28 December 2001, in Wood County, Texas.¹⁴⁸

1.  Deborah Elaine Bronze was born 9 April 1973, in New York, New York.  She married Joe Vandersnick 16 August 1997, in Gardiner, Park County, Montana.  They divorced in 2002.  Debbie married Theodore James Harkness in Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana on 19 June 2006.  Theodore Harkness was born 19 February.

3.  Gregory Wayne Bronze was born 2 August 1979 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.

3.  Christine Lynn Allen was born 12 September 1950 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  She married 1st Patrick Allan Camfield in January 1970 in Smith County.  He was born 17 November 1949 in Tyler, Texas.  They divorced.  She married 2nd Scott Hamby on 3 November 1979.

1.  Jennifer Lynne Camfield was born 22 November 197,4 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.

3.  Francis Ruthe Allen was born 25 May 1921, in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas.  She married Buford F. Graham on 11 November 1942, in Cisco, Eastland County, Texas.  He was born 4 September 1920, and died October 1983, in Veterans Hospital, Big Spring, Howard County, Texas.  He and Francis Ruthe were divorced. 

4.  Annella Allen was born 29 November 1922, in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas.  She married George Washington Ralston on 25 July 1941, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas, when she was 18.  He was born 8 May 1920, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas and died 16 January 1980, in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.  Annella Allen died 16 March 1987, in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.  She was buried in Crestview Memorial Park.

1.  Annella Francis Ralston was born 7 July 1942, in Breckenridge, Stevens County, Texas.  She married 1st Gary Dean McCarty in 1961 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.  He was born 3 July 1944.  They divorced around 1967.  Annella Ralston married 2nd, Danny Lee Malone about 1968.  They divorced about 1969.  Annella Ralston married 3rd, Courm Jerrald Evans on 12 January 1970, in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He was born 21 January 1938.  They divorced in April 1989.¹⁴⁴

1. Gary Dean McCarty, Jr. was born 18 September 1962, in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.  He married 1st, Donna Marie Howard.  They divorced on 12 December 1988. Gary married 2nd, June Lee Turner from Alice, Texas, on 27 April 2002. He resides in Needville, Texas.¹⁶⁶

2.  Chris Edwards McCarty was born 26 December 1964, in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee.  He married Sherry Kumaga on 18 October 1992.  They were divorced on 1 July 2001.

1.  Amanda Gail McCarty was born 6 June 1994.

5.  Lindel Annella Evans was born 2 April 1971, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.  She married 1st Bryan Nathaniel Mayes on 17 June 1994, in Havelock, Craven County, North Carolina.  They were both serving in the United States Marine Corps.  They divorced in April 2001. 

Lindel married 2nd, Julian Wheeler on 18 December 2002, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Julian was born 22 April 1972, in Lafayette, Louisiana, the son of Adam and Mary Wheeler.  He grew up in Lawtell, in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana.  Julian had two children from a previous marriage:  Brittany Monique Wheeler (b. 5/05/1991) and Julian Wheeler, Jr. (b. 7/17/1992).

1.  Bryan Nathaniel Mayes II was born 25 August 1994, in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.

2.  George Dale Ralston was born 10 December 1944, at Pyote AFB, in Pyote, Ward County, Texas.  He married 1st Vera Lynn Tidwell on 5 September 1964.  He married 2nd Jackie Theresa Peedty. She was born 25 July 1952, in Smithfield, Johnston County, North Carolina.

1.  George Dale Ralston II was born on 24 October 1965, in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.  He married Patricia Lynn Gee on 25 September 1984, in Junction City, Geary County, Kansas.

1.  Nancy Marie Ralston was born 18 November 1987, at Shaw AFB in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.

3.  Melba Gene [sic.] Ralston was born 11 April 1946, in Monahans, Ward County, Texas.  She married 1st Gerald Wayne Tubbs about 1964.  Melba married 2nd James Lee Macon around 1966. Melba married 3rd Mike Smith about 1988.  Melba Ralston died 18 January 2005.

1.  Gayland Wayne Tubbs was born 13 August 1965, in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.  He married Marla Frye about 1990.  She was born 6 January 1970.

4.  Sharon Louise Ralston was born 11 September 1949, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  She married Harold Edward Weaver in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas 1 August 1970.  He was born 6 February 1944, in Newport, Jackson County, Arkansas.  Sharon Ralston died 3 January 1997.

6.  Kenneth Ray Allen was born 16 February 1927, in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas.  He married five times.  His first marriage was to Jackie Pugh.  They married around 1946 when he was 19.  They divorced.  

Ken Allen married 2nd Geneva Ruth Fite in Breckenridge, Stevens County, Texas, on 14 April 1948.  She was 19 and he was 21.  Geneva was born 4 April 1929, in Slaton, Lubbock County, Texas.  She and Kenneth divorced.  She died 27 November 1999, in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas, at the age of 70.  

Nancy (last name unknown) was Kenneth Allen's 3rd wife.  She was born about 1927.  They got married around 1972 when Ken was about 45 years old.  Nancy died about 1977 in Odessa, Ector County, Texas, and was buried in Gladewater, Texas.  

Kenneth married 4th Jean (last name unknown) about 1978.   They divorced.  His 5th wife was Marilyn Elizabeth Hoffman.  They got married in Marble Falls, Burnet County, Texas, on 4 March 1981, when Kenneth was 54.  Kenneth died 7 March 1997 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 70.

1.  David Ray Allen was born 13 July 1949 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  He married Paula Jane Skarda 19 November 1982, in Houston, Harris County, Texas.  She was born 29 June 1954, in Houston.

1.  Kathleen Ruth Roman was born 11 October 1946.  She married a Blake.

8.  James Edward Allen was born 5 May 1930, in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas.  He married Lillie Lanelle Hendrix on 18 December 1961, in Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico.

3.  Johnnie Henry Nathan Hopkins was born 31 January 1902, in Dallas, Texas.  On 12 January 1927, he married Rosa Etta Boulter in Hunt County, Texas.  Rosa was born about 30 October 1903, in Hunt County, Texas, and died 6 May 1996, in Fort Worth, Texas, at age 92.  Johnnie Hopkins died 15 October 1974, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.  They were buried at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas.

7.  Roy Macarthur Hopkins was born 10 June 1943 in Murchison, Henderson County, Texas.  He attended Athens High School in Athens, Texas.  He married Rosemarie Duddeck from Germany.   Roy "Hoppy" Hopkins was elected as a state representative in Louisiana's House of Representatives in 1987, and served until 2003, representing Bossier and Caddo Parishes in District 1 on Louisiana's western border.  He was a used car dealer in Oil City, Louisiana.  Roy Macarthur Hopkins died 23 November 2006.  He was 63.  There is a picture of him in the Album section of this web site.¹⁴⁶

6.  Rosa Mae Hopkins was born 7 May 1908, in Talladega County, Alabama.  She married Charles Freeman Hulsey 24 December 1927, in Swinneytown (Tyler), Smith County, Texas.  Charles was born 24 April 1896, in Texas.  He was 31 when he married Rosa, she was 19.  Charles died 9 January 1959, in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  Rosa Mae Hopkins Hulsey died 31 December 2000, in Tyler, Texas.
